*For most projects, this is my process (although I am happy to discuss unique considerations):
1. Briefing.
Send me a detailed brief with the following information: who you are, core values, business or project goals, target audience, what you sell (product, service or dreams, where applicable), required features, scope of the project, timeframes and deadlines, examples of other/similar projects you like and everything else you think is important.
2. Evaluation.
I will take a close look at your brief and assess whether the project meets the terms and requirements of both parties. If there will be a need for additional resources outside of my scope that are crucial to the success of the project, this is where I will flag them. If you are happy to continue, we will have an online meeting to discuss how to proceed.
3. Kick Off.
We discuss approaches and concepts to find the perfect solution for your needs. Multiple sessions can be held if necessary.
4. Development.
After approval of the approach/concepts, the respective option is developed. In this phase, I will present 2-3 options (maybe even a mood board, depending on the project) to give a sense of what to expect in the final product. I will provide updates regularly on the status of development so you always have a clear insight into the progress of the project.
5. Creation.
This is where the magic happens. I will work on the agreed approach and concept. After a direction has been approved, I create the project.
6. Quality Assurance + Delivery.
After it's created and polished, I will ensure the project goes through appropriate quality assurance frameworks (including a minimum of two re-editing passes post-feedback). After your final approval, the project is ready to be either implemented or published.
